Lentinula edodes
West Wind™ shiitake are a wide-range shiitake that perform better than other strains in drought-prone areas. Like WR46™, West Wind™ has a fast spawn run making it a good choice for commercial production. This strain responds well to force-fruiting in the spring and fall.

Fruiting temperature range:
55-75° F
Indoor incubation temperature:
50-60° F. Spawn run will occur outdoors at temperatures above 45° F.
