Sawdust Block Strains

Making Shiitake blocks (bag cultivation) can be a challenging process and requires equipment and experience. But for many commercial growers, block production is sometimes paired with log cultivation, especially when it is the only way to harvest mushrooms reliably year round. Bag cultivation allows mushroom production to continue by managing fruiting on blocks in a controlled climate indoors. We offer our most productive Shiitake strain, LE3790, a proven performer in sawdust block cultivation. Each 5.5 lb. bag will inoculate up to 300 lbs. of hydrated substrate.
