Golden Oyster mushrooms perform best in summer when temperatures and humidity levels start to rise. This oyster can be grown on logs as well as on pasteurized straw. While you may also grow golden oyster on sterilized sawdust substrate, the yields are greater with other methods. To achieve the deepest yellow color provide additional lighting (600 lux) for 10-12 hours a day.

On loose substrate: 3-5 weeks
Fruiting temperature range:
65-85° F
Indoor incubation temperature:
75-77° F. Spawn run will occur outdoors at temperatures above 50° F.
