Just Dropped: Limited Release Lion's Mane Grain Spawn Variety!
While we love our house Lion's Mane strain, it's always good to trial new varieties, and we'd like to offer you the same opportunity! Here are some things to look for in this new limited release Lion's Mane strain:
-Compact clusters that fit nicely and uniformly into a till, especially suited to multiple cuts in the bag rather than single long cuts
-Spines are slow to lengthen, adding to the density of the cluster
-Equivalent if not superior yield to most commercially available Lion's Mane strains
Differences in productive Lion's Mane strains for the market grower are often hard to see. When evaluating strains, a room carefully monitored for consistency of environment is critical for meaningful strain comparison. This is often difficult if not impossible in the farm environment. The best we can do on the farm is make sure incubation and substrates are treated equally from the mixing of substrates to harvest, and to run the strain alongside your usual "house" strain as a check. Run the new strain throughout the year if possible, taking careful notes along the way.
