While we have yet to trial a blue Oyster that holds on to that dewy-steel blue color all the way from pinning to picking in warmer temperatures, this Oyster is a heavy yielder and holds onto the blue color longer than most blue oysters. Blue Oyster fruits abundantly in cooler temperatures with the intent of presenting the deepest blue color with the highest yield. Classic vase shape that accompanies most oysters that we think of as tree oysters. Spawn run temps: 72-78°F (do not exceed 80°F) Fruiting temps for best color, 60-65°F, and lots of light and humidity.
