Our 8.5mm soft steel screw tip bit drills the precise width to accept plug spawn. These bits are economical, work in both low and high speed drills, and can be resharpened. Used with a high speed drill, we’ve found that each will drill about 300 average oak logs using the diamond drill pattern (also available with stop).
