Grain Spawn Volume Pricing
Grain Spawn is mushroom mycelium grown into certified organic rye grain which is ideal for inoculating sterilized substrates, or for use in unsterilized totem or bed-style inoculations. Grain spawn is the industry standard for high volume commercial production. We recommend using grain spawn within one to three months of purchase. Most species must be stored refrigerated.
Grain spawn is used for Oyster and Shiitake mushroom cultivation.
One 4 lb. bag of grain spawn will inoculate about 40-80 lbs. of wet pasteurized substrate.
Due to high seasonal demand, orders for grain spawn may take 2-3 weeks before shipping. If you must have spawn by a particular date, please call us to see if the spawn you are ordering is (or will be) available to ship to meet your schedule.
Volume pricing is as follows:
1 unit = 4 lb. bag
1 unit $24.00
2 - 4 units $21.00 ea.
5 - 9 units $18.00 ea.
10 - 14 units $15.00 ea.
15 - 19 units $12.00 ea.
20+ units $10.50 ea.
