Annual Spring Workshops

Our Spring Cultivation Workshop is perfect for both the beginner and the experienced mushroom grower! Our workshops draw participants from all over the United States. Come join us at the family farm in beautiful Peshtigo, Wisconsin and see why we are so wild about mushrooms!
Attendees will start the day off at a favorite local eatery, Blue Bike Burrito, enjoying fresh baked goods and refreshments while taking in our information-packed presentations covering log-based mushroom cultivation suitable for Shiitake, Oyster, Nameko, Lion’s Mane, Box Elder and Reishi. We’ll also discuss garden and landscape mushroom cultivation, focusing on Wine Cap, Almond Agaricus, and Blewit mushrooms.
After a delicious lunch featuring some of our mushrooms, we’re off to the family farm for a hands-on log inoculation demonstration (attendees get to take their log home!), plus demonstrations on growing Oysters on pasteurized straw in bags, and our totem method.
We’ll finish the day with a tour of our mushroom laying and fruiting yards. We hope you can make it!
