Mushroom Spawn

Spawn is mycelial tissue of fungi which is used to propagate mushrooms. We incubate specialty mushroom strains in our laboratory, then cultivate them into a variety of forms for your use, including wooden dowels (called plugs), and proprietary mixtures of sawdust and grain. Each of these, once colonized by mycelium, is referred to as spawn.
