Terms
Our goal is to deliver the highest quality spawn and supplies in a timely manner. Detailed instructions are included with each order. We encourage you to call us if you have questions concerning the use of the product before ordering. So that we may assist everyone with their cultivation questions, particularly during the busy season, we suggest that you consider reading some of the many reference publications we have available beforehand. Spawn is not returnable unless it has been damaged in shipment and you notify us immediately upon receipt. We accept VISA, Master Card, Discover, money orders or personal checks, US funds only. Books and other merchandise are returnable only on authorization from Field and Forest Products, Inc. We require a complete address and telephone number to avoid unnecessary delays in processing your order. We can deliver to a post office box, however; please note that packages are easier to track if shipped via common carrier. Customers in Hawaii and Alaska, Canada or overseas, please contact us for shipping options and prices.
Ordering and Shipping Information
We generally ship orders via UPS ground service, but manually process every order to determine the best shipping alternative/price available. Please keep in mind that spawn is a biological product that must be grown and it is not always available for immediate shipping. If you are ordering well in advance of your inoculation date, please let us know approximately when you would like your order to ship by noting it in the “comments” section during checkout. Conversely, if you have an upcoming event or project, and need your order as quickly as possible, please also note this information in the comments section. We will always do our best to meet your delivery expectations. Please call for information regarding expedited service or to arrange an international order.
Your privacy is our priority. Be assured that any information you provide us remains strictly confidential and secure. We do not sell or rent our mailing list to anyone, ever.

LIMITED WARRANTY AND LIMITED LIABILITY
FIELD AND FOREST PRODUCTS, INC. (HEREAFTER, “FIELD AND FOREST”) HEREBY WARRANTS THAT THE SPAWN IT SELLS IS CONTAMINANT FREE, VIGOROUS, AND CAPABLE OF PRODUCING MUSHROOMS UNDER THE PROPER GROWING CONDITIONS. BECAUSE MUSHROOM CULTIVATION IS LIKE FARMING AND DEPENDS UPON ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS BEYOND FIELD AND FOREST’S CONTROL, FIELD AND FOREST CANNOT AND DOES NOT GUARANTEE BUYER’S SUCCESS IN TERMS OF MUSHROOM PRODUCTION. LIKEWISE, FIELD AND FOREST CANNOT AND DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE GROWING MEDIUM PROVIDED BY BUYER FOR SPAWN IMPLANTATION IS FREE OF OTHER FUNGI. IN THE EVENT OF AN INTRINSIC PROBLEM IN FIELD AND FOREST’S PRODUCTS, AS OPPOSED TO PROBLEMS CAUSED BY OUTSIDE INFLUENCES AND/OR SOURCES, FIELD AND FOREST WILL GLADLY OFFER A REPLACEMENT, BUT HEREBY LIMITS ITS LIABILITY TO REPLACEMENT OF THE PRODUCT, ONLY. ANY AND ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, ARE HEREBY DISCLAIMED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
Release of Claims
Except for claims for replacement product as may be allowed under the limited warranty set forth above, Buyer hereby releases, discharges and waives any and all claims and causes of action against Field and Forest for losses, damages, costs, or expenses arising out of or in any way related to Buyer’s purchase and use of product from Field and Forest.
Indemnity
Buyer agrees to hold harmless, defend and indemnify Field and Forest, and its employees, officers, directors, shareholders and suppliers, from and against any and all losses, claims, damages, costs or other expenses sustained by Buyer and/or any person as a result of or in any way relating to the purchase, use and/or misuse of any product sold by Field and Forest. By placing an order, Buyer represents that Buyer is over age 18, has read and understands these terms, and accepts these terms as written.
Limitations of Product Use
Buyer agrees not to sell, transfer, market, or assign Field and Forest spawn, cultures or other products without prior written consent. Buyer understands that Buyer can only use Field and Forest spawn, cultures and other products for Buyer’s own personal growing and consumption of mushrooms. Re-isolation or further propagation of Field and Forest spawn, cultures or other products is permitted only for Buyer’s continued use in growing mushrooms for personal use and consumption. Any use of Field and Forest’s name, product names, other trademarks, photographs, product descriptions, written materials, and/or other copyrights without prior written consent is strictly prohibited and constitutes infringement.
